Anybody ever bought a used megachanger?

I'm trying to figure out a way to clear out the entire memory of programmed artists, titles, and tracks from the previous owner. It is painful to do so disk by disk. It took 8 days to ship so leaving it unplugged doesn't seem to help and I don't see a battery slot anywhere on the unit to clear the memory.

Anybody know of a shortcut?

P.S. - The irony here is that in most reviews of these things the number one complaint I read was how easy it is for the entire memory to be wipped out. I should be so lucky!

Oh...by the way

My model is the Sony CDP-CX90ES. The manual only gives instructions on clearing one title or group at a time.

Is there a factory reset button? Most electronics I have come across have this function.

Looked in vain for such a magic button w/o luck. Manual makes no mention of one either...thanks for the suggestion though...

What did Sony say when you e-mailed them this question?

The Sony's will hold info for 30 days so no the 8 days would not have done it. I moved and had my epuipment tied up for over a month between homes and yep, sure enough I lost everything and had to start over.

Guy on the Sony chat room solved it for me!

All I had to do was turn off the unit, hold the clear button...then hit the
power button. The message "ERASE ALL" appears on the window, and the
deed is done. This must be done from the unit...it will not work from the remote control. I had to figure that part out myself!

Thanks for all you help.
