Any tips for when I go to setup my new Denon receiver?

Anything i should or shouldnt do or that i should look out for?
Im not a NOOB but i havent set up new receiver in years so im not familiar with audessy and all the new features.

First, do a hard reset and if necessary, a firmware update. This is the recommendation I got directly from Denon.

Read the manual, section by section. That way, it's not like having to read the whole thing in one sitting. Browse through it first and make a list of the areas that seem foreign so you can concentrate more on those more. I would hook everything up and set the inputs first and worry about the fine points later. That way, you can take your time and get it right.
