Any temperature limits on A/V cable?

In an addition to my home I am going to install about 35 feet of 2 inch pvc conduit from my A/V equipment closet to the rear of my wall-mounted plasma display. The conduit will be put in an unheated crawl space beneath the home theater room. I can get the straightest run by going beneath the insulation with a straight line of pvc from beneath the closet to beneath the display.

Are all the cables that might be used for A/V okay with a temperature range from -15 F to 100 F?

Thanks for your help.

Should not be an issue.

Cryogenically frozen cables work better, right Mtry?

You should be fine.

How cold does it get in your unheated crawl space? And how hot does it get? Probably, you have nothing to worry about, but I have no idea where you live, and therefore do not know about your climate. If you live somewhere with severe temperature extremes, it could be an issue, though a crawlspace isn't the same as being outside (unless it is an open crawlspace because your house is simply on stilts).

Another thing to remember is that your plasma TV will generate a lot of heat, and you need to make sure that it will have adequate ventilation (you say it is wall mounted; if it is a recessed mount, with the TV flush with the wall, then you need to be concerned about this).

And last, make sure you seal the holes where your wires go through, since you are talking about a hole between insulated and uninsulated space.
