I have a Bose Accustomas 15 generation 1 surrond sound speaker system that uses a proprietary speaker cable system. The cables are light weight wire with what looks like RCA type 90 degree ends on them that mate to female RCA jacks on the speakers. The cables have been cut and spliced once already from a previous house of mine and I would like to replace it. The manual says not to use any other (I assume RCA type) connectors or wire with the system. I would like to run a "built in" speaker system in my house using wall mounted jacks and larger cable in the walls and would like to know if anyone has had any experience in replaceing the proprietary cables from the first generation bose speakers. Thanks Chuck..
