Any one had this issue before??

I have a jvc hd 35O and recentley everytime I turn it on I get a once off tap when the lens opens. I'm curious to know if anyone knows what it could be and has had that problem before ?

Hi Franin, I have not, and I am guessing it is likely because I don't have a feature that you do? An automatic lens cover, which automatically opens when you turn it on, and likewise closes when you power it down?

While I don't yet have a troubleshooting solution, I'll keep my eyes out for you.

Well, the tap . . . hmmm . . . I have an idea, get anything that can record the sound, and record that tap when you fire it up. Link the sound file at the AVS thread, and I bet someone might know what it truly is. I am simply guessing on the auto lens cover. I suppose in the very worst case scenario, you can order the part, or perhaps even just remove it all together, though I would keep it until mechanical failure perhaps . . .

No, actually i heard the same problem some where, so I just thought if I can know the solution to it and increase my knowledge
