I find myself always too busy to spend time on my vinyl collection and the same may be happening with the SACD/DVDA/CD sooner or later. That means I will be needing something like this pair:
Bryston Limited: BDP-2 Digital Player
but preferably a one box solution and at 1/5 or less the price of the Bryston pair. Thanks to Rich's link, Oppo may be working on something but the one in the link is not going to do it for me as it will not play anything on its own. I am going to email Oppo and request that they work on a one box solution, it seems all they need to do is to remove the video stuff and the disk drive of the 105 and then sell the smaller box for less than 1K, as long as there is an app to select the media files without the use of a TV/monitor. Of couse I am simplifying things just to make a point.
