Hi- was wondering if anyone knew much about the vintage JBL L-88's? Such as how they were viewed and rated in the day (and now) and recommended watts rating. Was never really able to find much info on them. I bought a pair with my first JVC system in '78, they were used then and I have used them to this day. I have always liked them. I use them now with my JVC RX-8020 as my main, with the JBL S-Center II, and a JBL PB12 sub. For the surrounds I use Mitsubishi SS1000's, and for the back Marantz SP1200. I know they aren't all "matched", but I think it all comes together pretty good.
