Any ideas on where to find high quality, 4-5' BS stands.

I'm looking for some help finding tall stands for some new surrounds I have coming in. Dolby recommends 2+ feet above the listening position. So that right around 50".

I've been looking all night, and the best I can find are telescoping arm stands with tiny bases and 6x6 top plates. These are not confidence inspiring for the medium-to-large bookshelf RBH SV-61R. (Finding the perfect center stand was easy, it's on the way).

I was planning on using reclaimed wood floating shelves, but she preferred the idea of towers.

So now I'm trying to figure where and how I'm gonna locate these new savages when they get here.

Any suggestions are hugely appreciated.

I've got some of those telescoping stands with the tiny bases :) @ryanosaur does too and he expanded the base for stability....which I'd also do if it were in an area with traffic, but they're not. The speakers I have on them are only 10lbs each, too....and that high up any simple stand is probably going to have stability issues. Consider making something along the lines of the Ascend stands they sell for the 340SE so you could fill the stand with sand for stability?
