Looking for a blue tooth speaker for poolside play. Of course being a HIFI type person I am looking for good sound that is clear and balanced. I will be streaming music from an Iphone or Ipad. Should play loud enough to be able to speak over an AC unit and kids playing around the pool. Any suggestions? Max 300 budget. Below 200 would be better.

Zorro has a pair of bookshelfs(non-bluetooth) from this company and really likes em. Nice prices too:

or larger:

Thanks. Looking for something small with real good sound and easy BT connection. JBL Charge 2 looks ok, but I hear when turned up it distorts.

What have you looked at? and what size?

Do you want to mount it? Any info will help.

A portable one that I can take outside each weekend is fine. No handles or any mounts are necessary Sound quality is most important to me.

This is outside your budget but they may have smaller units that also work very well. Soundcast - Outcast.

I have the Outcast and it is amazing around my pool and at tailgates!

Way off topic, but:
Any time you have audio equipment near a pool, make sure that it's protected with a GFCI outlet.

I ended up with a Riva Turbo speaker. Best sounding BT speaker around.
