Hi everyone! This is my first post on this forum board as a new member and I think all of you can help me out with my problem.
I have an older audio system consisting of ONKYO components. My amplifier has been acting up for a couple of years or so. The electronic "mode" selector for Tuner/CD/Tape 1/Tape 2/Phono keeps switching on its own from one thing to another. I never know when it'll do it, cold or warmed up. It's like it has a mind of its own.
Also, my CD player started acting up with the laser pickup skipping and then locking up while playing a CD. Now it doesn't spin the CD up or track the laser pickup.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of the knowledgeable members on this forum can recommend a very exceptional and reliable repair shop in the Los Angeles, CA area, the Southern CA area, or else in another nearby state that I can ship my components to for repair??? I'm looking for a repair shop that does excellent work and knows what the *#@! they are doing as far as troubleshooting and repair! Hope someone can help me find that perfect repair shop.
