Is there any reasonably priced DVD or even just a CD player or changer that has the capability to display not only the album/artist but also the track that is playing on an OSD?
I seen the Escient Fireball music server/player, a higher end Kenwood player connected to a Kenwood server (a $2-3000 combo), there's the ReQuest products ($800 just for a CD player with 17GB server), and Imerge (even more expensive), but what about more lower priced gear?
Preferably this info would be downloaded automatically via a net connection to gracenote or CDDB...
This product may not exist yet at the price point I'm wanting, but I can hope! Also I'm sure this would be a music server with a harddrive, but just a CD player that could call up CD information from an inserted disc would suit my needs.
