Any CROKINOLE players here?

I was introduced to Crokinole { http://www.crokinole.com/ } by a friend {who is a huge board game player/collector} a month or so ago. It was fun and fairly simplistic in nature but challenging. I wanted a board too. The game origins have roots in Canada, and the boards are a bit pricey and not readily available. I got mine from a craftsman in Thunder Bay, Canada. The game is basicaly, flicking your disc at your opponents disc to out score them.

I played this all the time as a kid. So much so my finger would start to hurt after a while.

Wow, I was at a friends house last night that plays this. She is getting her own board. I admit when she explained it I had to give her a double take, but I'm curious to give it a try.

I was crokinol champ at home and in my class at school. That was many MANY years ago.
