Any body have any expierience with a Yamaha DVD-C950?

Got one of these for a steal @ BB on Good Friday. Open item for $49.00. As much as I can tell regular retail is around $499.00. Anyway I have the cables coming from monoprice (tomorrow I think) but am curious as to anyones opinion on this player. I had to order HDMI & HDMI to DVI to set it all up with my RX-V1700 I bought for $120.00 (with everything it was another open item deal) as my current RX-V2500 is component only and will be re-located to the bedroom. I would appreciate any response as I got NOTHING over @ AVS.

The reason I mention DVI is my TV is DVI not HDMI.

I've owned that model for about a year, and it is a solid unit. It is connected to my Yamaha RX-V2500 via an optical cable. Up until yesterday, I was using it as a DVD/CD player. The DVD functions are not needed now (purchased a Toshiba A20 HD DVD player). This units upconverts DVD very well thru HDMI or component. I know your post was a few months ago, but if that unit is still available, jump on it! I paid $450 for mine.
