I'm interested in purchasing some equipment for a Home Theatre setup to be used in a fairly large room (aprx. 20x50). I'll most likely be purchasing this stuff at BestBuy. Primarily it will be used for Movies/TV, but would like to use it for Karaoke parties 5 or 6 times a year. The way the room is set up, I think it would be best to use ceiling mounted speakers for the Rear surround. Can anybody recommend what I should look at and stay within a $1500 budget for the receiver,5.1 speakers,and necessary wiring? Any concerns about using H/T system for karaoke???
