Anthem MRX 520 No signal

Hello,
I have an Anthem MRX 520 AV Receiver (AVR) with current Software/Firmware updates completed. The AVR was experiencing fluctuating signal loss when watching Bell TV and the Nvidia Shield. The AVR suffers more “no signal” than operating as it should. It also experiences speaker interference (popping/crackling noises occasionally). Radio/FM works fine. The equipment I’m using with the AVR is a Panasonic TC-65DX900 TV, Wharfdale Diamond 9.5 speakers, Wharfdale 9.CM center speaker, Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer, Bell TV Box, and a Nvidia Shield Box. I sent the AVR in for repair and was advised a new HDMI board was required. $585 for the board and $160 for labour. I declined the service, however, they sent it back with a different board that would allow audio to function via toslink/fiber optic. BTW HDMI ARC and HDMI 2 and 3 work with video but no audio. That service cost me $260 which included shipping. It worked for a few days and now has no signal. The connection setup is TV Fiber Optic out to AVR Fiber Optic in (number1). Bell Box and Nvidia Shield connected to TV inputs 3 and 4, not HDMI ARC. AVR to subwoofer and speaker connections. I have called Anthem and have not received a response in a few weeks.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Take the Anthem to the recycling center and move on. They are bad news, we have fielded a lot of issues with those.
Good money after bad now. Get something else.

Did you pay more than the proposed repair costs in the first place for that unit? I'd just move on as well, and would probably not go with a boutique brand like Anthem.

Probably continue to call them and email them until you get a response.

If you still get nothing or decide to give up, then probably do research into a big company major brand.

If they charged you for the repair cost ($260) and it only worked a few days then you should asked for a refund, then move on to something else. If they refused, you should elevate your request/complain to their service manager or higher up the chain. $260, or say $200 before shipping is still a lot of money, surely they should, and likely would, do the right thing for you.
