Ant Man

Arguably the best MCU movie yet. Previously I thought Iron Man 1 and Winter soldier were tied.

This movie, however, is done in a much lighter vein. You get somewhat of a hint in the trailers on TV now but seeing it le like eating a York Peppermint Patty.

And, it's VERY tied into the MCU, with a few faces with whom you're familiar.

You'll be seeing more of this guy.

I take it its worth seeing in the theaters? i wasn't sure about this flick...not knowing the antman character.

Yes. If for no other reason than to deny yourself the pleasure of sharing the fun with an appreciative audience.

I didn't go for the full IMAX/3D and went on Welfare Sunday when tickets were $7.00. I've never found that those two could save an otherwise dreary movie anyway. Oh, make no mistake. This was far from dreary.

Allrighty then. I'll go on the next welfare night as welll as I'm still on call.

It is a solid movie, more along the lines of guardians of the galaxy with its sense of humor. While I would have preferred Hank Pym since he was the original Ant Man, they did an excellent job with the New Ant Man.

I wouldn't say it was better than Winter Soldier by any means, but it is a different type of MCU with a light hearted approach to humor that may not make some fanboys happy. Ant Man is one time that I will say the character works better on the big screen than in the comics, because you can't draw an ant sized picture in a comic cell.
