I'm looking at getting one of these rcvrs for my system. They will be hooked to a yamaha dvd-c750 and either axiom or klipsch speakers. What's the difference between the 3805 and 3806? Just hdmi's?
Both seem to be about the same power, and the dacs and adcs should be about the same correct? Do both do a good job with multi channel analog inputs (for sacd)?
It really comes down to features.I'm looking for hdmi connects. Do both rcvrs upscale? Does either one pass 1080p?
Also ease of use and setup are important. From the reviews the 2600 seems more accurate using the spaeker setup in auto then the 3805.
If any one has any opinions on other useful features or performance differences let me know.
