*Another sub recommendation thread*

Have a 12x24x8 living room. Going to be used 60% for music 40% movies and video games. Narrowed it down to epik legends, rythmic fv12, outlaw lfm-1plus, hsu vtf2.3, and emotiva ultra 12s. Really leaning towards epik legends and rythmic fv 12s but I don't really see any reviews for them by any members. I know rythmic can do music great, just wondering how it does with HT. Emotiva is so freaking cheap but I feel it won't fulfill me for deep, lower bass in HT... so it's probably not in the running. Would just like for some people to chime in on what they recommend. I would go for the Outlaw, Hsu, or Rythmik. I don't think the Epik would be substantially better at deep bass then the Emotiva. By the way, I don't think just one of any of these subs will give you monster output in your room, especially if you are seated in the center. If your budget is tight, two Emotivas might be your best bet for any kind of decent bass at all, unless you can place the sub nearby, like an endtable, in which case I would go for the Hsu or Outlaw.

Since you have already narrowed it down I won't comment about SVS or Hsu, which would have been my choices.

Good Luck! , Pick what sounds best to too you; it is best if you can actually try them out in your own setting. Remember to sub-crawl to get the best sound.
