Another Kappa Build

I was finally able to get started on the box last weekend and wow is this thing a beast.I never really comprehended the size of the box from looking at pics. With the way this box has been designed along with this quality driver I am really looking forward to the day of cranking this thing up.Anyway,I do have two questions.I would really like to mount the 0-A amp in the box and not have some box sticking out on back or side.I took some measurements and it would fit behind the large cross brace/under the small cross brace. But me being me, I want to center it up which would mean I would have to cut a 2 inch notch out of the small brace so it could center up behind the large cross brace. The amp would only go into the enclosure about 2inches ,would this have a significant negative effect or hardly any?Only other thing I'm confused about is exactly where the rock wool goes.Does it only go on the large brace and that's it or should it also be on all the walls.Once again,I can't thank you guys enough.

Are you talking about putting it in the side? I would assume yes because the port pretty much dominates the entire backside of the cabinet. Personally I think any modification to the design is a compromise but so is using that amp so in the end it just comes down to what you really want to get out of the sub.

Yes,in the side but behind the large cross brace which would put it near the rear and I want to also center it from bottom to top.I also am still confused on where exactly the rock wool goes.

Here's a pic of what I want to do.Sorry about going off spec but I only want one of these subs so I think the bash amp is the way to go for now(for me),and I think it would look allot better in this configuration than having the amp in a separate box. But,I'm new here and all I can do is think,my opinion is just that,an opinion with no basis, you guys are the experts and I really appreciate your inputs. If putting the amp in the box will have a significant negative effect then I will go with a separate box.Hope the pic works:)

Im not sure if it will have a significant negative effect, but there is no doubt that it is a compromise, The rockwool goes onto the large brace on the surface that is directly behind the driver

Finally took some pics.I'm still waiting on the amp and the rock wool to come in so the speaker is just laying in there in the pics. Also I plan on doing 2 coats of black stain for the finish.Tracking say's the amp and wool should be here 2morow so I'm feeling real anxious right about now :)
