One topic that this article passed over is purchasing Internet direct speakers. There are a lot of great speaker companies that you will not find in any demo room (Axiom, Emotiva, EMP, SVS, etc..) Most of these companies offer some sort of return policy to make auditioning them in your home easy to do. Or, you can plan to come to the annual Audioholics Get Together (GTG) in Clearwater, Florida this October and try them out in person.

Are the location and date(s) decided on? I know it's many months away but many of us will need to know well in advance.

I'd love to go to AH GTG, but Clearwater is tad too far for a day trip for me, thou it is a lovely place - the beach is amazing and you get the chance to rub shoulders with scientologists
