Howdy.
I spent the weekend setting up my home theater room and the only thing I'm missing is some wall plates. What I'm looking for is an angled wall plate with an opening about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. I'm running a component video cable and 4, 12 guage paired speaker wires into the wall at one point, and the same video cable and the projector's power cable into the wall at another point. The component video cable is 3/4 inches in diameter, hence my need for such a large opening. I've seen these plates in home theater stores and my old house had one for all of the satellite cables, I just can't find them here in GA. I bought a Levitron angled plate that's supposed to be used for CAT-5 or coax, and I filed down the opening to get the component cable to fit, but not without causing some scratching to the cable jacket. Lucky the three separate cables are surrounded by a jacket so no damage was done to the individual cables, but my nice, new cable now looks like hell. Any ideas? Lowes, Home Depot and Wal-Mart all were no shows.
For the record, my HT setup is as follows:
Denon 3805 AV Receiver
Denon 2910 DVD player
Panasonic AE-700U LCD projector
Da-Lite Cinema Contour 92" HDTV screen with High Contrast Cinema Vision material
Paradigm Monitor 9 towers
Paradigm CC370 center
Paradigm PS-1200 Sub
Paradigm ADP 170 rear surrounds
Speakercraft 6" in-ceiling side surrounds
Salamander Designs Triple 20" cabinet and Single 20" cabinet
Blue Jeans Cable 12 guage speaker wire and 40' component video cable
The PS-1200 is a monster. I rattled the bed from 2 floors down. I don't rattle the bed when I'm in it, much less 20 feet below it.
Thanks.
