Angled vs Straight

I am a musician and was wondering if the orientation on the connector of a cable affects the signal.
Most instrument cable are offered in either orthogonal or straight.

As long as the connection is secure, it orientation fo the connector should not affect the signal at all. The same electrical connection is being made regardless.

Angled may make for a neater cable management behind the gear. Other than that, there's not going to be a difference in the signal.
