As far as online auctions go. &nbsp;Be very careful. &nbsp;You will be spending a lot of dough and will have NO WARRANTY. &nbsp;No warranty on a $500 to $1000 receiver, not too big of a deal, but on a $4k receiver? &nbsp;I would hate for someone to get a brand new receiver and it ended up being one of those 1 in 1000 that's a lemon. &nbsp;You would then have to trust that the online auction site would give you $4K back. &nbsp; Maybe, maybe not. &nbsp; &nbsp;

Remember, if you don't buy a Yamaha from a authorized dealer, you don't have a warranty and in most cases Yamaha will not even work the receiver at your cost.

Anyway, I have heard that the new Flagship is amazing.
