analog meters

bandphan suggested that i look for a mcintosh outboard analog meter box ...

well i thought, i couldn't even afford the word mcintosh printed on a piece of paper ... why not have someone custom me an outboard analog meter box.

it goes in between the amp and speakers (basically having 2 pairs in 2 pairs out of speaker binding posts)

will i kill sound quality by inserting this into the chain?

oh, and should i go 2 channel, 3 channel or 7 channel?

Is there a reason why you feel the need to have these meters?

General rule of thumb says the less in the signal path the better.

i'm jealous of mac amps with the meters and even the denon amp
