Are you implying that it is not worth repairing?
No at all, but repairing it may be very difficult. It will be a servo control dedicated to that motor. With what was described as happening to it you can count on every solid state device on that board to be blown.
I have worked on these types of board, mainly on tape motor control.
They are difficult as a rule. You need to have the circuit and the specs, and will need a frequency counter among other things to set the board up.
If you have one device that is NLA you are out of luck. I had that happen with my Revox AV MK IV tape deck. I bought that blown for $60 I tried a work around, but had to wait for a used part to become available on eBay.
Now Revox A 77s had huge production runs. A device with a run of 50 sounds a real uphill task to me, unless you are very lucky.
Anyone who buys this should pay very little over the freight cost, certainly less than $100.
