Amplifier temps and speakers

Hello all ,
New to this forum ,have read alot in the last week or so .I have a question on how to keep my amp cooler ? I can run 4ohm speaker according to adcom the amp is rated at 250 watts into 4ohms ,but i was watching a movie and the thermal cut off turned the center channel off any ideas on cooling this unit ?

Keep in mind you need to leave at least 8 inches of space above your amp and some 5 inches at each side. Check if your amp has a fan and if it does, check it's functioning correctly.

Sounds to me like you may need to calibrate your system if the amp is breathing properly.

BTW, I am using an Adcom7605 with a 5.1 4ohm system. The only time I shut a channel down is during my Led Zeppelin dvd. It's always the right front speaker. Jimmy Page won't give it a break.

After the above suggestions, you may want to try a fan on that amps vents or fins if they are exposed? Small, computer type faqns are not expensive and you should be able to find them in 120V. Maybe even several?
