I"m putting together a 7.1 HT system and have narrowed down my amp choices to outlaws 7 channel or Emotiva's 7 channel. Anyone have any comments or experiences with either of those models? Does one stand out in bettery quality then the other?

These are both great choices, I would also consider looking at the Earthquake Cinenova. The Emotiva is sexy, so I would lean more towards that one (plus I sell them )

Emotiva

The Emotiva is a true monoblock design with a seperate torodial transformer for each amp. They also have stereo amp modules available that fit in the same slot. This would be great for adding more then 7 channels or for zone 2 applications.
If you order it today, you can pre-order the UL pre-amp for $99. If you don't like the pre-amp, sell it for a profit.
