Hi, I need some input on what would be the best/safest set up for my car system, I have a audio pipe 1000wamp(35amp internal fuse) powering twin 12’s in a box, and a Rockville krypton f2 2400w/600RMS 4 channel(2 40amp internal fuse), I want to install for my front and rear speakers… I have a 60 amp inline fuse, and a 30 amp distribution block. Is this ample protection or is it overkill

This is not a car audio forum. However we discourage custom car installations. The reason is that they so often result in serious damage to modern vehicles. The move in the last 20 years to the universal adoption of high frequency digital regulators, make car installations problematic. Not least because after spending a lot of money, you get greeted by a loud buzz on turn on.

The stock radios are now generally better than any aftermarket systems, and a part of the vehicles information and safety systems. These units are now designed to the vehicle, and employ advanced DSP processing techniques, especially in high end models. These systems are now very reliable and sound extremely good, no least because DSP can provide far better sound than a half baked amateur installation.

Last, but not least these installations, universally void the manufacturers warranty. As mentioned severe damage to the vehicles electrical system remains a serious risk.
