Hi.

Am currently using a Teac Refreance 300 Amp and CD Player.

Am looking for something better now to run my B&W 685's, All of my music is from the PC via a decent soundcard and leads. Am looking at something cheapish AMP. I hooked my dads NAD 320BEE up and the sound was alot diffrance from my Teac, The Teac was harsh topend with the 685s, But the NAD really mellowed it out to a nice sound!. So is B&W and NAD the best comb like people say?.

Thanks.

I don't know about best, but they are certainly good together. I used a few different NAD amps with my B&W 601's and was very pleased.

Hi.

Thanks for the replys.

What are the Rotel's like?. Am currently trying my dads NAD 320BEE which sounds pretty nice, But am trying to get the best amp for the money (£200/$400ish) and which both go well together.

BTW am based in the UK.

B&W and Rotel are owned by the same company, hence why the are recommended to be used together. If you go with higher end B&W they recommend Classe', another part of that same company.;)

I didnt know that, So of course Rotel are going to be best suited to B&W.

Well i have seen a few C320BEE on Ebay 2nd hand so i will wait and see what price they go for, Is there much diffrents with sound wise between theC320 and the C325/C350?.

Thanks.

You were saying on the cheapish end, are you looking for an intergrated or is your computer the "pre".

pre being that your computer will handle volume control, tonal adjustment, and that your sources will be feed thru your computer ie dat>macbook>amp>spkr. As seth was pointing out rotel would be a good match, keep that warm "brit" sound. If you want to forge into used equipment check out ebay for some stuff,
