Existing receiver Yamaha RX-V2600

if you had the choice which would you prefer?

option 1
Rotel RB1080 200w x 2 = (200wpc front LR, leave the rest to the receiver)

option 2
Rotel RB 1080 200w x 2 plus Outlaw 2200 x 1 = (200wpc front LCR, leave the rest to the receiver)

option 3
Rotel RMB 1075 120w x 5 = (120wpc ALL seven channels)

Emotiva MPS-1

Have you thought about buying the Emotiva amp with 3-5 channels? You get 3 channels of 200 Watts @ 8 ohms for about $1400. Down the road you can add additional mono or stereo amps in the remaining slots.

Also look at Adcom GFA-5503, 3 Channel 200 watts/8 ohms. Scrap option 3, 200 watts min per channel IMO.

Good advise. I second this opinion.

Keep in mind that buying additional MPS-1 modules later is more expensive than buying them up front.

But at least there is room to grow without taking up more room in the rack. An option if you want to expand the system in the future.

I currently have a B&K 7270 seven channel amp. I will end up using it for the "B" zones and buying either stereo or monoblock amps in the future.

Or Adcom GFA 7707. 200 x 7

Or Adcom GFA 7700. 175 x 5

Or Adcom GFA 7605. 125 x 5

Or Adcom GFA 7607. 125 x 7

If you listen to two channel quite a bit i would opt for the 1080. The 1080 is a very fine amp and you can upgrade the other channels when finances allow.
