Amazon Digital optical cables

Hello, does anyone have any experience with Amazon optical cable? Are they good quality? We all know about all the cable myths lol. Thank you

Digital cables either work or don't.

Optical cables are one of those things where it won't matter a whole lot. The only key part for me is a good connector. Monoprice are actually less expensive and will work exactly the same as the Amazon ones, but shipping may make them similar in price. My experience with other Amazon Basic products is that they've all been pretty good so far.

I like the Bluejeans ones myself because of the really solid connector, and you can choose your length, but they cost a little more than the basic ones.

I like the ones that keep the gold in my pocket....FWIW I've yet to have a non-functional optical cable.

I've had one fail. Must have been bent too far when I moved and threw it in a tote with all the other cables and damaged the fiber. In "normal" use, that will never happen.

Ok then I have had a variety of cables "fail" too. Abuse isn't quite what I had in mind when I said non-functional

They don't work well if coiled too tightly, so make sure they're in a looser coil- I wouldn't go smaller than 6" diameter.
