I have a Microlab FC360 2.1 speaker system issue whereby the right side channel speaker channel is faulty. The speakers and subwoofer works as I plugged into the left phono input, I have checked all connections and settings the issue still persists. The conclusion is the amplifier is at fault I item is out of warranty and no support from Microlab.
I would like to know if there is an alternative cost effective amplifier that I can use ? The speakers and SW (subwoofer) inputs are phono/rca types as far as I'm aware the SW is a passive I can provide detailed specs. I am not very knowledgeable on audio set ups particularly mixing and matching components.
Many thanks
This is the second post in 24 hours about that Microlab junk sold in the UK.
Unfortunately those all in one solutions are not able to have their units replaced by other gear. Usually the speakers have not standard specs. In this case the major issue is that the amp contains left and right amps and a sub amp. This is not a standard format at all.
I'm going to give you the advice I gave the last owner of this junk. Be a bit more aware, and realize that you absolutely can NOT make and sell a unit with three speakers and a unit with three amps for 50 quid. Especially so when you have that onerous VAT. That tax makes things expensive and leads to the proliferation of junk.
Cheap junk is always the most expensive purchase and akin to flushing money down the toilet, which you did with this purchase, as it needs to go to the recycling center.
Now get a nose for classier gear from well established manufacturers that do not make junk and will stand behind their products.
Never buy all in one box gear. Pick good speakers, pick a sub and pick your amp or receiver separately.
