Hey

I got a Altec Lansing system with 4 units and one subwoofer.
It have been runing with my old PC with a Soundblaster soundcard.

New i got a new PC, and want to connect them to it. With the new computer came some other surround system, with used 2 jackplug into the soundcard, where i then setted up the surround sound configuration in the setup program on the computer. But the Altec Lansing system plays a lot better. So why dont use it ?

The problem is that the Altec Lansing only uses one jackplug, and the setup program on the computer is like it need two.

The soundcard in the new computer is an intergrated one on a ASRock motherboard, running with Cmedia software.

Can anyone help me? Its quite annonying only hearing sound from the 2 frontspeakers. :\

If your only getting sound through the front speakers, but the system only uses one jack, its something wrong with the speak set itself. Whats the model?

Sorry my bad, the rear speakers are playing.

Its the ADA880, old model.

But they use one jack, and the cmedia program splits the soundsteams out on a front output, and a rear output, and i have only plugged the jack into the front output.. What about the rear sound?
