akai um-uo1 distortion?

hi, im new to this site, well basicalyl ive a old skool akai am-uo1, and the right channel has a distortion on it like its blown some where? now ive had a look for any obvious problems but i can't see any thing?
has any one had this problem before? any replys would be great!

If it is working but distorting/making noise it could be a capacitor that is dried out. This might not be obvious to the naked eye. If you want to mess with it I would try changing a few capacitors.
