I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this when setting speaker levels. My center speaker a Emotiva Airmotiv C2+, powered by a Marantz AV7702mkII with a Emotiva UPA-700 amp. When I was setting all the speaker levels and got to the center channel, I noticed, after a certain level, the SPL meter would not go any higher. It was holding at 74.5db and no matter how high I increased the level it would not go above 74.5db. I finally just gave up and lowered the level to when it fell below 74.5db and then just raised it one point. It still sounds good but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this plateau of audio?? Thanks for any feedback/ info.
