advice on package?

I am going to upgrade my entire system when my house is finished.Right now I am considering polk rti series and axiom m60ti or possibly m80ti.My question is,I know there alot of other brands out there.Am I too narrow minded with these two setups?Also I plan to get an svs sub for 825.My budget is about 5000.00.But minus the sub and a new receiver, it drops to a little over 3000.00. Any suggestions?Thanks

need to know more. what percent is music and tv? what size room ?

is there a waf involved? best to listen before you buy. look on audiogon for demo or used could really save you big time. you could end of getting 6000.00 speakers for 3000.00. i would add dali, vienna acoustic, von schweikert, dynaudio, totem, swan, onix, salk, selah, and vandersteen. to your list.
