Advice on Outdoor System using Sonos

I already have Sonos and I love it. Being able to turn on music from anywhere and all I need is my iphone in my pocket is awesome, for me.

I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to do this with just one zone controller to make things simple on the remote controlling side of things.

Given that the ZP120 only amplifies two speakers and I'm going to need more than two, I plan on going with the ZP90 and figuring out some way to make it work with 6 speakers. So 2 -inputs to 6 -outputs conversion

My idea so far is to hook it up to a Rotel RMB-1506 which is a 6ch distribution amp.

Here is where the questions come in:

1. What do you think about the ZP90 + RMB-1506 setup?
2. Will it work the way I think it will?
3. Is there a better solution, with just one Sonos ZP?
4. If I were to layout the 6 speakers, how should I lay them out? A,B,C represents the channel, L Left, R Right
Idea 1:
AL AR
BL BR
CL CR
Idea 2:
AL CR
AR CL
BL BR

How large is the area the speakers will need to cover? Outside, good speakers sound like a transistor radio unless you're close to them and the sound is contained.
