Funny thing about doing PA/sound reinforcement work.
It's sort of an audio oxymoron that when a speaker is placed for maximun clean coverage, the bass suffers. Likewise, when a speaker is placed for the best bass reinforcement, everything else suffers.
You're best off mounting the upper bass/mid/treble units up high and getting a bass bin or two to mount on the floor. ...particularly if you want gut-wrenching bass.
Likewise, an electronic bi/tri/quad amp setup can help termendously here.
