So I just bought a new home theater system. I'm new to all this and I just want to know if I'm getting the best sound out of my speakers. So with my sony receiver I did the audio calibration and it gave me these results. So for my Crossover Frequency my 2 front and 4 surround speakers were put at 120hz & my center speaker was put at 180hz. Now there is not a exact name for the next setting it just says speaker settings but the 2 Front speakers were put at 0.0 db, the center speaker was put at -3.5db, & the 4 surround speakers were put at -5.5db. Now I currently have the Polk Audio Blackstone TL2 satellite speakers and the specs they show on the website is that the center channel speaker supports Total Frequency Response 90 Hz → 24 Hz & Lower and Upper -3dB Limits: 125 Hz → 20 Hz. The 6 satellite speakers support Total Frequency Response 95 Hz → 24 Hz & Lower and Upper -3dB Limits: 20 Hz → 125 Hz. Now that you know what my speakers can support. Did my audio calibration on my sony receiver give the best settings for my speakers? Thanks so much for the help...I am new to this and I just want the best sound....I will attach some pictures if that will hep. Also im not sure if this matters but this is setup in a large living room with the 3 front speakers 15feet away from the couch & the 4 surround speakers 6 feet away from the couch. Last thing.....my speakers are small but the system put them as large speakers but the center speaker was the only one put as a small speaker.
