Hi peeps I'm new to the Audio scene and the reason why I'm here is because I recently picked up a set of DCM TP160 speakers for what I believe was a good bargain.
I was influenced after seeing a post comparing a pair of bookshelves to the q acoustic 3020, Infinity Reference R152, and the Q100's. Seeing as they were going at a price of only 70$ i decided to get them. ...And the towers (120$).. and the center(90$). Coming to a total cost of 300$. Might have been an impulse buy but oh well.

I plan on using them as two sets. The center and towers will be my main TV audio gear while the bookshelves will be on my desk.
Powering the 3.0 setup will be a Yamaha RX S600, which I plan on getting used for 125$.
For 425$, I got a home theater setup as well as a pair of bookshelves that will be on my desk but plan to recycle for a 5.1 setup in the future.

Went in blind and I have no idea how I'm doing. What do you guys think? Can I do better for the price?
Should I just go for a simpler 2.1 system with some powered speakers and get it over with?
I can't seem to find any information on the TP160's online

Thanks

I think you've done just fine so far. I'd want a sub, too, particularly for HT, but that's me. Once you have it setup and listen to it a while....
