My friend is looking for some bookshelf speakers. Right now we have it narrowed down to the Polk RTi35s, NHT SB2s, Axiom 3ti, PSB Image 2B. I own the SB2s and love them, but he would like to stay under $300 and we haven't been able to audition the others. Any recommendations?
He'll be using a Pioneer VSX-D814 and does not yet have a subwoofer, if that helps at all.
