Hi AUDIO WIZARDS!:
Years ago I sold stereo, but now I feel inadequate to make decisions without a little help.
I have a media room that has never been put to use in our home. Its pre-wired for 5.1, and is about 12X16 feet. Viewing distance will be about 10 feet, I suppose. Standard 8 foot room height.
I am 50/50 music/Video.
We just bought a 42 inch Panasonic Viera 1080P Plasma--the largest size that can fit in our cabinet space.
All my old stereo gear is getting tossed, except, perhaps, a pair of PSB Image 15s. Just for cost efficiency, I would like to incorporate them into the system.
Now PSB makes a center unit called a C40 that matches the 15s, so that seems like a slam dunk for this small space.
Any comments here are appreciated.
If this is a decent set-up so far, what about a sub?
I have been considering the PSB new SubSeries 1
or the Orb Super 8.
Better choices out there?
