Adjust for best picture

I have a Mitsubishi Projection Screen TV Model VS-45607. It looks like in the past 2 days the picture is not the best. I tried using the built in set up but not great. picture lacks contrast, depth of picture and looks like a light white mist on screen. I have a disc from Discwasher digital to set up tv should i use it.

While I heard of that company, used to make vinyl cleaning fluids in the old days. not sure about their calibration disc. But, something like the Avia II, should be used. If that doesn't help, you may have other issues with the set and need warranty replacement.

That's a 4:3 CRT projection TV. It may be as simple as dust or other buildup on the mirror and lenses. Has it been particularly humid in your home lately? Condensation can also cause a hazy picture. You should be able to pop the screen off and take a peek. There should be 2-4 screws under the speaker grill that hold the screen on. After removing those screws you should be able to pop the screen off by lifting straight up and pulling out. If the buttons on the front of the TV are part of the screen assembly then don't forget to disconnect the wires. Make sure the mirror and the CRT lenses are clean and free of dirt/grime. Remove any cobwebs while you're at it.

All well and good but this even just happening so rapidly in the past two days?

Well I say it's worth a shot before forking over money to a repair shop or junking it. I doubt the set is under any kind of warranty.
