I'm considering adding a single satellite rear surround about 4ft right behind our seating position. Most of the of the content we play is 5.1 so we would be using PLIIx or DD EX on an older 7.1 Yamaha receiver to generate the rear surround channel from the SR/SL channels. I was wondering if it will make a significant difference in the experience considering the SR/SL are in-ceiling slightly behind our seating position. Would it be more worthwhile to add two presence speakers in front to use with CinemaDSP?
