Adding a 2nd sub

I am looking to add a second sub but would like to get some first hand information from other owners who are in this position.

Currently I have a SVS 20-39 PC-Plus and have limited space for a second sub so I am going to need a sub with a small footprint. So this begs the question, will a sub which meets this criteria be able to keep up with the SVS and if so would like to get some recommendations.

The PC-Plus subs do have a small footprint... 16x16". Or did you mean something else?

The 2nd subs needs to have a smaller footprint due to space.

audioholics recommends that you buy the same sub so the receiver doesnt give off mixed singles
