Found a used one for what I think is a good price. Any comments about this model or the Adcom brand in general?

What speakers are you going to match up to it?
Adcoms are nice amps with good sound.
5 X 125 @ 8 ohms
5 X 175 @ 4 ohms
Depending on your speakers it would be either good or under powered. That depends on the speakers you plan on running it with.

Im a pretty nit picky fella when it comes to build quality & i compare all examples of build quality against my Mcintosh & Krell gear, this statement was only to reference my comments on Adcom build quality.

I own several Adcom peices, ive been trying to put together an all white Adcom system for a few years now,i have a mint pair of GFA 565 mono's that i really like, stupid gobs of power & i love the look, build quality of the case is a little weak for the cost of the units, the covers are flimsy & the attachment screws & the holes they insert into are very poorly implemented.

That is the only faults i can find in Adcom gear,i think for the new msrp Adcom could invest a bit more attention to build.

I'm a big fan of Adcom. My first step into the higher end A/V world was the purchase of 2 GFA 555II which I had monoed into each speaker. I still have one of them and used it to drive those same speakers... some original BIC Venturis. When I got into ht, I bought the Cinema Grand, but still used my Adcom for 2 channel. It's in the closet now, but I will figure out a way to bring it to life again.

I'm still using my 5 disc Adcom changer and it still sounds and performs perfect after almost 10 years.

Found this old thread using Google to figure-out who is selling Adcom these days.

I have had my Adcom 7605 for around six years now, and I absolutely adore it. Using it to drive an entire 4ohm five speaker system. Started with a Yamaha 1400 as a pre, and currently use a Z7.

So, did you ever get it?
