Adcom GCD-700 wont register disc

Hey!

The Gcd-700 wont register any cds? Any self fix tips out there??

There could be dust on the lens. You could try one of the available lens-cleaning discs, or if you are handy, open the unit and clean off the lens.

There are some things mentioned in the owner's manual for that unit (available here in PDF format) on page 10 regarding it not recognizing a disc. I'm guessing that you've considered all of the ones listed, but I'm providing the link just in case.

Throw it away get another one.. Adam is on it once again...the quickest google searcher in the west...

she seems to be working. Reading all discs. even on shuffle!! We will see how long this keeps up!!
