"ADC Sound Shaper 2 - IC" QUestion

I am wondering what this unit is worth and if tit is rated well. Does anyone here know what this is and what they normally go for? I can't seen to find to much info on it...

The Sound Shapers are nice looking in a "Old Analog" kind of way, but the two that I've seen, neither one of which were the model you listed, were pretty old and had problems with dirty contacts along the sliders and a crackling noise because of it.

How old is that model?

I think its from the late 80s. I saw it for 20 bucks on my local Craigslist and wondered if it was a decent unit. I really don't need it I have many dual 31 band eq's at my disposal whenever I would need one. I just thought it looked cool and might be worth a shot if nothing else just for its look....

Maybe for 20 bucks it might be worth the chance, just on looks alone.

Yeah that kinda what I was thinking as well....I guess it won't break the bank or anything so I am gonna go for it....
