Hi everyone,

I am new to these forums and am in desperate need of some help with a new subwoofer. I have a set of Microlab solo7c speakers and have just purchased a new Wharfedale sw150 subwoofer. On the back of these speakers I have aux and pc both are red and white RCA ports. The subwoofer has red and white rca inputs and output connections aswell as terminals for the speaker cables. I have 2 rca to 3.5mm jack for the speakers connected into my PC (3.5mm), to the aux connections on the back of my solo7c's ( 2x RCA ). My question is how am I going to connect the subwoofer to my setup?

Cheers, InstantCoffee

Two options;
1. Split the source with an RCA splitter cables. Something like this.
2. Run the source to the sub input connectors and use another rca cable to go from the sub output connectors to the speaker input.

I think number 2 should work! i receive the sub next week sometime. just to confirm; you mean from PC ( 3.5mm jack to Rca x2 ) input sub. then from sub output ( rca x2 to rca x2 ) aux connections on speakers? Thanks for your help too it is much appreciated!
