After some A/B listening, I realize this system is not good for hi fidelity in my home. It's take a loss and sell on E-bay of solve another need at my dock/boathouse

Can I use them out doors , under cover from the elements?

Thanks , I need a technical opinion.

I'm pretty sure they have paper cones. If you can, double check, that would confirm it.
If they are, they won't work outside. They will absorb moisture.
So will the bass units' cabinet.

I was not aware of paper cones being the difference in outdoor/indoor speakers, so I need to get off this idea of taking stuff outside. I will see if I can do a marketing job and sell it all ...

I don't know about now. But in the past Bose stuff sold for all the money on e-bay.

Well, hey will work, but not for long.

I'm pretty sure they have paper cones. If you can, double check, that would confirm it.

...but they float for a pretty long time, though...

Seriously, they would be fine for a guest room, small office or anywhere non-critical listening is the order of the day.
